Sharing experiences for better scaling

Two ACIAR projects met to discuss questions and challenges linked to effective scaling and implementation. Tamara and Brendan met with the team from the ACIAR project Transforming Irrigation in Southern Africa in March, including Jamie Pittock and Peter Renshaw (ANU), and Henning Bjornland and Karen Parry (UniSA).

The meeting focused heavily on the processes undertaken in the different projects, with TISA sharing results from previous work, and plans for the future. We shared the approach Rupantar is taking, and the ScAD tool that could be used in other projects.

The meeting was a great opportunity to learn from each other, as both projects focus on effective intervention points, understanding change and the processes of more effective scaling in our respective locations. We look forward to seeking opportunities to connect in the future.
